I've never really thought of myself as an "Artist", and after my first visit to this site, and having seen some of the many outstanding works offered here, I'm even less inclined to do so. I consider myself a student of art. I'm self taught in disciplines including photography, painting, wood carving (ugh!) and recently digital media. My goal has been as simple as trying to be better than this time last year. (take better pictures, make better drawings, etc...) If nothing else, I think I've accomplished that at the very least. My interest are extensive... sports, cars, architecture, scenic views, plants, animals, etc... so the things you'll find here are images of things I find visually interesting. Below are a few...

Thank you Brenda. This started as a project to practice layer overlays. I have no idea why I chose a skull...maybe because of their complexity... but now I'm sort of hooked on them. I plan to do some more. Surprisingly, they irritate some people and have been rejected by several groups.
