Description
Who doesn't love the world of Star Wars and the wonderful vehicle and creature designs. This original digital rendering of the iconic X-Wing fighter was created using photographs, Fractals, Painter 12 and Photoshop. I have thousands of photographs of everything you can imagine (and others) including images of actual movie models. This work came together as many of my works do, by reviewing various components individually then combining them to make something unique. I this image, I was toying with various planet scenes, views with other space vehicles, colorful fractal images, etc... Then I came across this "cloud" like fractal image and the pieces all came together. The fantastic lighting, I'm sad to say was pretty much luck. Everything just seems to work with this.
